My second book, tentatively titled Conservatism Past and Present: A Philosophical Introduction, is under contract with Routledge. You can read a short description of the book here.

A recent essay from this book project titled “Stoic Conservatism” appears in a special issue of Symposion on Stoicism and Contemporary Thought. 

I have an essay titled “Are We Made for Happiness?” in Jordan Peterson: Critical Responses, edited by Sandra Woein. 

I recently wrote an article titled “Can’t We Be Friends? Civic Friendship in an Age of Incivility” that will appear in The Virtues: Civility (OUP, ed. Andrew Peterson, expected Spring 2023).

My first book The Authority of Virtue: Institutions and Character in the Good Society was published by Routledge in November 2020. A more reasonably priced paperback edition will be released on August 1st.
 
My article “A Virtue Politics for Liberal Democracy” has been published online in The Journal of Value Inquiry​.
